The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia is hosting the
National Capital Region Gang/Crew Summit on November 8, 2012. Your
attendance at this training is essential to improving the understanding of
gang activity in order to enhance public safety in the National Capital
Region. The training is free and will be open to law enforcement and
community programs throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and
Virginia. Registration will begin at 12:30 pm, and will include lectures on
three topics beginning at 1:00 pm. The topics featured will be Gang
Intervention and Prevention Best Practices, Reentry Considerations for
Former Gang Members, and Strategic Problem Solving and Research Partnerships
for Violence Reduction. A save the date flier has been attached.
Pre-registration is required - individuals should RSVP by emailing the
attached form with the represented programs name, the names of each

Justice Professionals.
